Venue Hire

What are the hire options and rates for the venue?

Whole Venue (including the small meeting room as reception and free use of the shared self-service kitchen)

• Hourly Rate: £32 per hour (8:30am - 10pm)

• Full Day Rate: £260 for the whole day (8:30am - 5pm)

Small Meeting Room (can be used as reception when hiring the main barn, includes table seating for 8 and free use of the shared self-service kitchen)

• Hourly Rate: £16 per hour (8:30am - 10pm)

• Full Day Rate: £100 for the whole day (8:30am - 5pm)

Catering Options

What breakfast options are available?

• Home-produced Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Roll (with tomato ketchup or brown sauce): £5 plus VAT

• Pastries (mix of Danish, cinnamon, and chocolate): £3.50 each

What are the lunch options?

• Simple Buffet Lunch: £10.50 per head plus VAT

  • Assorted sandwiches

  • Sausage rolls

  • Bags of crisps

  • Fruit platter

  • Selection of cake

• Hotpot Lunch: £14 per head

  • Homemade farm-produced hotpot (meat and vegetarian options available)

  • Served with crusty bread and butter

  • Meat options depend on seasonal farm produce (usually beef, venison, or sausages)

Beverages

• Coffee/Tea with biscuits (unlimited): £3.50 per person

• Spring Water: £3 per bottle

• Pressed Apple Juice: £8 per jug (serves 6 glasses)

What activities are available at the farm?

Lower Blakemere Guided Farm Walk with Farmer Phil

• Duration: 1 hour

• Cost: £15 per person

• Details: Tailored farm walks focusing on various interests such as cows, wildlife ponds, or farm machinery.

What facilities and amenities are provided?

• Use of two spaces: Main barn and small meeting room (can be used as reception or breakout room)

• Shared kitchen and toilets

• Free Wi-Fi

• Ample parking

• Chairs, tables, and screen for use

• Full disabled access to both meeting spaces, kitchen, and toilets

• High-quality PA system

Note: The barn is not licensed. If you wish to serve alcohol, you will need to obtain a separate license.
